merytnebthut's hermitage

welcome! i'm merytnebthut, a practicing polytheist of 8 years, and this is my digital hermitage.
my first true foray into polytheism began in spring of 2017. i devoted myself to kemetic polytheism in 2019, and i started practicing teotecayotl in 2022. i follow a monastic path of contemplation, mysticism, and study. polytheist monasticism is a growing movement in our modern day, and i hope to share in building its foundations strong and sturdy by pondering how our spiritual ancestors approached sacred service. the non-hierarchical and community-oriented nature of monastic groups can bring something truly important to the table, but there is much work to be done!
this site is explicitly queer, socialist, and anti-fascist. my relationships to my gender and my religion are deeply intertwined, and i hope to share some of this experience in my writing and my art.
